Red Sea Global (RSG) has announced the opening of Six Senses AMAALA, a new beachfront resort on Saudi Arabia's northwestern coast, set to welcome its first guests in mid-July. This marks the second collaboration between RSG and Six Senses, reinforcing their commitment to luxury travel that prioritises environmental and social regeneration.

The resort, built around a natural mangrove lagoon, aims to protect and restore local ecosystems. It features an Earth Lab where guests can engage in environmental initiatives and a Junior Mangrove Ecologist programme for younger visitors. John Pagano, Group CEO at RSG, stated, "Every partner we bring into our portfolio is selected because they share our long-term vision of luxury travel with regeneration for people and planet at its centre."

Six Senses AMAALA offers 100 suites and villas, a Six Senses Spa with a Longevity Centre, and three signature restaurants. The resort's design draws inspiration from traditional Saudi coastal architecture, integrating seamlessly with the surrounding landscape of beaches, mangroves, and desert mountains.

The opening of Six Senses AMAALA is part of a broader strategy to establish AMAALA as a leading wellness destination, contributing to Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 by diversifying the economy and creating new employment opportunities. With plans for a total of nine resorts, AMAALA will eventually offer over 1,600 hotel rooms, further enhancing the Kingdom's tourism landscape
