Rotana has recently announced its intent to expand in Africa. This intent was revealed with the debut project in Dar es Salaam. The 254-key property will include 191 hotel rooms and suites and 63 serviced apartments across 24 floors.
The new property will be part of the landmark MNF Square in Dar es Salaam. This mixed-use project will comprise a five-star hotel, retail and parking facilities.
“The property in Tanzania falls in line with our strategic goal to operate 100 hotels by 2020. Dar es Salaam is a business hub and key gateway to safari destinations. This new hotel will cater to both resident and visiting business guests as well as tourists,” said Omer Kaddouri, president and CEO of Rotana.
In addition, the new property will offer six food and beverage outlets, a lobby lounge, all-day dining restaurant, Chinese restaurant, bar, specialty restaurant and Club Rotana Lounge.
