JW Marriott Tokyo unveils world’s first Mindful Floor

JW Marriott Hotel Tokyo has launched the world's first Mindful Floor, a pioneering concept designed to harmonise mind, body, and spirit. Situated on the 28th floor of the hotel, this innovative offering includes nine Mindful Rooms and Suites, complemented by state-of-the-art fitness and wellness facilities. Reservations are now open for stays beginning 12 January 2026. Guests can enjoy a curated selection of organic herbal teas and a bespoke journal for daily reflection. The rooms also feature wireless speakers with a meditation playlist, enhancing the serene atmosphere. Guests staying on the Mindful Floor have access to the Spa by JW, which offers treatments inspired by the elements: Calm, Indulge, Invigorate, and Renew. A special spa credit is available for the 75-minute Ultimate Aromatherapy Experience, offered at a reduced rate of $200 (JPY 30,000). Beyond the rooms, the Mindful Floor includes a 25-metre indoor pool, saunas, and a 24-hour fitness centre. Guests can participate in complimentary yoga sessions or visit the Serene Space meditation room on the 30th floor. The Mindful Room package includes $200 (JPY 30,000) credit for spa treatments, in-room wellness amenities, and daily breakfast. Marriott opens first city hotel in Mactan

Marriott International has launched its first city hotel in Mactan with the opening of Fairfield by Marriott Cebu Mactan. Located at Mahi Centre in the Mactan Economic Zone, the hotel features 196 rooms and aims to cater to both business and leisure travellers with its strategic location and amenities. The hotel is just three minutes from Mactan-Cebu International Airport, providing easy access to the Mactan Export Processing Zone and local attractions. The hotel offers three categories of rooms—Standard Twin, Standard Queen, and Deluxe Queen—each designed with high-speed Wi-Fi, ergonomic workspaces, and comfortable beds.
