Short Stay Summit 2026 returns to London

The Short Stay Summit 2026 is set to open its doors on 22 April at Old Billingsgate, London, bringing together over 1,300 delegates from the short-term rental industry. Organised by the UK Short Term Accommodation Association (STAA), the event will feature key figures from Airbnb, Expedia, and Booking.com, alongside property managers and technology providers, to explore the sector's evolving landscape.

This year's theme, "Tourism Reimagined: A People-Led, Future-Focused Industry," highlights the industry's adaptation to regulatory changes, technological advancements, and shifting consumer expectations. The summit will address topics such as the UK's regulatory outlook, the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on the industry, and the influence of social media on travel decisions.

Notable speakers include Kate Nicholls, Chair of UKHospitality, Andrew Griffith, Shadow Secretary of State for Business and Trade, and Chris Webb, Chair of APPG Hospitality & Tourism. The event will also see the announcement of a new Chief Executive for the STAA, as outgoing CEO Andy Fenner reveals his successor.

Several companies will unveil new products and initiatives. Hostaway will introduce Booking Website Pro, an AI-driven marketing tool, whilst Key Data launches Dex AI, a data experience engine for property managers. Casago will announce its rapid expansion into former Vacasa markets, and Hospitable will offer a $0 property management software tier.

The summit promises to be a pivotal event for the short-term rental sector, providing a platform for innovation and strategic developments. Delegate tickets are still available for those wishing to attend
