Swiss International Air Lines has added more destinations to its network in its winter schedules.
The airline will commence scheduled services to Kiev and will also be adjusting its existing services from Zurich, Geneva and Basel. The carrier will also be eliminating certain frequencies, this will include providing further new destinations to be served from Geneva.
The service on the Zurich-Miami route will be increased from seven to ten weekly flights. SWISS will be offering six new destinations Stockholm (served up to four times weekly), Oslo (up to three times weekly) and Gothenburg (up to twice weekly) in Scandinavia, along with Belgrade (up to twice weekly), London Gatwick (up to three times weekly) and Marrakech (up to three times weekly).
SWISS will also be realigning its services from EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg to the expected lower winter demand. Flights to Rome will be suspended, while services to Barcelona and Prague will each be reduced by one weekly frequency. All three routes will be restored to their full complement of summer services, however, in the 2014 summer schedules.
