US Airways is to launch non-stop flights between Heathrow and Charlotte in North Carolina, it has announced.
The daily service will start in March 2013 with an Airbus A330 including its Envoy business class with full-flat beds. A full schedule and fares will be released soon.
“This new service will augment our existing trans-Atlantic network and provide more choices for customers in markets up and down the east coast,” said Doug Parker, chairman and CEO of US Airways.
The flight will go onto Miami and complements its existing service from Heathrow to Philadelphia.
