Vietnam Airlines is set to enhance its connectivity with India by launching direct flights between Hanoi and Ahmedabad starting 3 November 2026. The airline will operate four weekly round-trip flights using Airbus A321 aircraft, marking Ahmedabad as its fifth destination in India.

This new route expands Vietnam Airlines' network to seven routes between Vietnam and India, linking Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City with major Indian cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and now Ahmedabad. The airline's total frequency in the Indian market will increase to 25 round-trip flights per week, offering passengers more travel options across northern, western, and southern India.

In addition to the new Ahmedabad route, Vietnam Airlines is broadening its international reach in 2026 with new routes to Amsterdam, Colombo, and Phuket. The airline is also increasing flight frequencies to several key destinations, including Munich, Moscow, Taipei, Osaka, Tokyo, and Seoul, to accommodate the rising demand for travel and business connectivity.
