360 Hotel, a family-owned luxury retreat, has opened in South Iceland, offering guests an immersive Icelandic experience. Located near Selfoss, the 31-room hotel combines breathtaking views, a geothermal wellness sanctuary, and a Northern Lights wake-up service. The hotel is the first in Iceland to join Preferred Hotels & Resorts.

Situated just an hour from Reykjavík, 360 Hotel serves as an ideal base for exploring Iceland's iconic landscapes, including the Golden Circle and South Coast. The hotel encourages guests to slow down and enjoy the surroundings, with each room uniquely designed to reflect Icelandic heritage. "360 Hotel is, first and foremost, a family-owned hotel," said owner Hrefna Bachmann. "We wanted to create the kind of place we would want to come home to."

The hotel's design, led by interior designer Guðbjörg Anna Árnadóttir, incorporates elements from Icelandic traditions, using natural materials and warm textures. Each room offers a distinct character, with features like Moroccan wool rugs and handmade pottery.

Hnaus Restaurant, led by Executive Chef Hinrik Örn Lárusson, offers a farm-to-fork dining experience, using local and seasonal ingredients. The restaurant's menu changes with the seasons, providing a taste of South Iceland's agricultural traditions.

Guests can also enjoy the Northern Lights without leaving the comfort of the hotel, thanks to a wake-up service that alerts them when the aurora appears. The hotel offers a range of activities, including board games and books, reflecting Iceland's tradition of cosy indoor evenings.
