Four Seasons Explorer Palau has announced a new route to Kayangel, one of Palau's most secluded northern islands, providing guests with exclusive access to a hidden beach and a unique dining experience. This addition enhances the Explorer's offerings, which already include diving, snorkelling, and kayaking through the UNESCO-listed Rock Islands Southern Lagoon.

The luxury catamaran, the only vessel to explore both the northern and southern islands of Palau, now offers a journey to Kayangel, a pristine island known for its untouched beauty and crystal-clear waters. Guests will enjoy a private stretch of beach where a castaway-style lunch is served, featuring vegetarian and seafood bento boxes with Mediterranean-inspired dishes such as watermelon and feta, avocado and caponata, Niçoise salad, yuzu-dressed prawn, and grilled cod.

Kayangel, accessible only by boat, is home to one of Palau's smallest communities, where traditional fishing and farming practices continue. The new route is part of a broader collection of immersive experiences offered by the Explorer, showcasing Palau's diverse islands. Guests can explore the 500,000 square kilometres of protected marine territory or enjoy guided island excursions that delve into Palauan culture.

The Four Seasons Explorer Palau accommodates just 22 guests, operating as a luxury floating resort with flexible itineraries. Activities include sunrise yoga, guided dives, jungle bike rides, and marine biology presentations, culminating in sunset cocktails under starlit skies. The M-Dock, a waterfront restaurant, bar, and lounge, further enhances the Explorer experience as it launched on 1 October 2026.
