Blenheim Palace is set to reveal its 'Glow Up' following a £12 million restoration project that has spanned two years. This extensive renovation aims to preserve the UNESCO World Heritage Site and enhance its architectural and artistic features. The restoration, which concludes at the end of October, has involved intricate craftsmanship, including the re-leading of the roof and the restoration of the famous statue of Britannia.

The project has also revitalised the North Portico roof, featuring a collection of eyes artwork commissioned by Gladys Deacon, the second wife of the 9th Duke of Marlborough. This artwork, last restored in 2008, has been meticulously cleaned and restored by skilled conservators. Heather Carter, Managing Director of Blenheim Palace, praised the collaborative effort of the team involved, stating, "The success of this project is the result of an exceptional collaborative effort across a whole team of specialists."

The restoration not only preserves the palace's historical integrity but also introduces new ways for visitors to engage with its rich history. Blenheim Palace has launched a programme of private and bespoke experiences, offering exclusive access and immersive experiences for travel trade partners. Group visit prices for 2026 are set at £39 per adult, with concessions available.

This monumental restoration provides a renewed opportunity for visitors to experience Britain's Greatest Palace, which first opened to the public 75 years ago. The initiative ensures the palace remains resilient against the elements, with visitor contributions directly supporting ongoing conservation efforts.
