Laguna Phuket has made a significant advancement in its sustainability efforts by launching eight new fully electric shuttles, featuring the Rava Beach Club’s identity. This initiative coincides with the grand opening of the Rava Beach Club and represents a significant step forward in promoting low-carbon mobility and responsible tourism at Asia's premier integrated resort destination.
Supplied by Anuphas NEX, the shuttles operate entirely on electric power and feature 11 premium forward-facing seats, as well as onboard speakers, providing guests with a seamless and comfortable transport experience throughout the journey. The EV fleet is an integral part of Laguna Phuket’s comprehensive sustainability roadmap, which encompasses a phased transition of its transportation network to electric vehicles and the expansion of EV charging infrastructure across the integrated resort destination by 2026. Together, these initiatives reinforce Laguna Phuket’s commitment to reducing carbon emissions and enhancing the overall guest experience with modern, environmentally responsible mobility solutions.
Paul Wilson, Managing Director, Laguna Phuket, stated: “The arrival of the new EVs represents a significant milestone in our journey toward a more sustainable future. As we prepare for the grand opening of Rava Beach Club, these electric vehicles not only enhance the guest experience but also underscore Laguna Phuket’s commitment to reducing carbon emissions and setting new standards for responsible travel in the region. We are excited to partner with Anuphas NEX to bring this innovative fleet to life, and we look forward to expanding our electric fleet and charging infrastructure throughout Laguna Phuket.”
A Greener Destination: 2.5km Regenerative Transformation for 2025–2026
In addition to its new EV fleet, Laguna Phuket is rolling out a multi-year regenerative placemaking plan aimed at transforming 2.5 kilometres of the estate into interconnected parks, cultural installations, wellness spaces and biodiverse landscapes. This initiative embodies Laguna Phuket’s long-term vision of integrating sustainability, culture, community and wellbeing into one cohesive guest experience.
Designed to enhance nature-led experiences and outdoor immersion, this transformation represents one of the region’s most significant landscape-led destinations. It invites travellers to connect deeply with the environment and heritage of Phuket.
A Destination Evolving with Purpose
With sustainable electric mobility now integrated into its guest experience, and a regenerative landscape framework unfolding across the estate, Laguna Phuket is shaping a refreshed, future- focused innovative model of responsible travel. Through phased openings in 2025–2026, the destination will offer an elevated, nature-rich experience that reflects a new era of integrated resort travel — one rooted in wellbeing, ecology, culture and supported by a cleaner, climate-conscious transportation network.
