Wynn Resorts and Marjan have announced a significant milestone in the construction of Wynn Al Marjan Island, the region's first fully integrated resort. The project has reached its topping out stage, with the tower now standing at 283 metres across 70 floors. Upon completion in 2026, the structure will reach 352 metres, becoming the tallest building in Ras Al Khaimah.
The resort, scheduled to open in spring 2027, will offer 1,217 resort rooms, 297 Enclave suites, and a variety of luxury amenities, including 22 dining venues, a spa, pools, and a 420-metre beach. The development is progressing rapidly, with 100% of the guest accommodation structure completed and 79% of the tower's façade panels installed.
Max Tappeiner, President of Wynn Al Marjan Island, stated, "Standing at 352m and, as the highest building in the Northern Emirates, Wynn Al Marjan Island is reshaping the skyline of Ras Al Khaimah and anchors a destination designed for guests who expect the very best."
The project has also created over 18,000 construction jobs and is part of a broader vision to transform Al Marjan Island into a world-class destination. In addition to Wynn Al Marjan Island, Wynn Resorts and Marjan are developing a second project, Janu Al Marjan Island, set to open in late 2028.
Abdulla Al Abdouli, Group CEO of Marjan, commented, "Wynn Al Marjan Island is more than a single development; it is the centrepiece of a new global destination taking shape in Ras Al Khaimah."
