SalamAir marks 9 years with expansion plans

SalamAir, Omanโ€™s low-cost carrier, is celebrating its 9th anniversary, highlighting nearly a decade of providing affordable and reliable air travel. In 2025, the airline operated 22,164 flights and transported over 3.4 million passengers, expanding its network to 44 destinations. This growth aligns with Omanโ€™s Vision 2040, focusing on network expansion and fleet enhancement.

The airline currently operates a fleet of 15 aircraft, with plans to add three more in 2026, scheduled for delivery in May, June, and September. New routes to Port Sudan, Damascus, Vienna, and Medan have been launched, with further destinations to be announced later this year. SalamAir aims to diversify its network towards markets with strong demand and balanced competition.

Adrian Hamilton-Manns, SalamAirโ€™s CEO, expressed gratitude to passengers and partners, stating, โ€œThis milestone reflects the commercial strength, agility, and dedication of our team, and reinforces our focus on profitable growth, customer-led innovation, and strengthening SalamAirโ€™s position as a leading low-cost carrier in the region.โ€

In India, SalamAir is represented by Aeroprime Group, supporting the airlineโ€™s market expansion and trade engagement across eight key stations. As SalamAir looks to the future, it remains committed to continuous improvement and innovation, ensuring its position as a key player in the aviation industry
