IHG Hotels & Resorts has launched its first Kimpton hotel in Malaysia, marking a significant milestone in its Asia Pacific expansion. The Kimpton Naluria Kuala Lumpur, located in the vibrant Tun Razak Exchange (TRX) district, introduces the brandโs signature design-led hospitality to the city. This new addition aims to attract travellers from Singapore and beyond, offering a stylish weekend escape just under an hour's flight away.
The hotel, owned by LQ Hotel Sdn Bhd, a joint venture between Lendlease and TRX City Sdn Bhd, features 466 rooms and suites over 26 storeys. Guests can enjoy views of iconic landmarks such as Merdeka 118 and KL Tower. The interior, designed by the award-winning studio Hassell, reflects Malaysiaโs lush landscapes with earthy tones and organic textures.
Dining at Kimpton Naluria Kuala Lumpur is set to become a highlight, with four unique venues including Tuai + Till, a farm-to-table dining experience, and Four Siblings, Malaysiaโs first spice-themed rooftop bar. The hotel also offers wellness amenities such as a rooftop fitness terrace and complimentary workout sessions.
Paul Cunningham, General Manager of Kimpton Naluria Kuala Lumpur, stated, โThe opening of Kimpton Naluria Kuala Lumpur represents not only a new destination for the brand โ itโs a promise to deliver what weโre globally recognised for, unique properties with truly unique guest experiences to match.โ
This opening is part of IHG's broader strategy to expand its luxury lifestyle offerings in the region, with more destinations planned, including Kimpton Suntaya Bali Ubud in 2026
