Vinpearl Joint Stock Company has entered into strategic partnerships with three of India's leading travel companies—Thomas Cook India, SOTC Travel, and MakeMyTrip—through Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) signed on 9 May. These agreements, formalised at the Vietnam-India Business Forum during a state visit by Vietnam's General Secretary and President To Lam, aim to position Vietnam as a preferred travel destination for Indian tourists.

The collaboration is expected to open direct access channels to various customer segments in India, stimulating travel demand and enhancing experiential tourism. Thomas Cook India, known for its expertise in group travel and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) tourism, SOTC Travel, recognised for family holidays and leisure travel, and MakeMyTrip, a leader in online travel bookings, will leverage their strengths to promote Vietnam.

Vinpearl, Vietnam's leading hospitality brand, operates nearly 60 properties nationwide, offering a comprehensive ecosystem of accommodation, dining, entertainment, and MICE services. This makes it well-suited to cater to the travel preferences of Indian visitors, including large group travel and multigenerational family holidays.

Ngo Thi Huong, CEO of Vinpearl, highlighted the importance of the Indian market in Vinpearl's international expansion strategy. "Through partnerships with leading industry players, we are not only broadening our market reach but also proactively developing products tailored to each customer segment," she stated.

The Indian market, with its rapidly expanding middle class, is experiencing a surge in international travel demand. In 2025, Vinpearl saw a 402% increase in Indian guests, followed by a 335% rise in the first four months of this year. These partnerships are expected to further boost Indian tourist arrivals to Vietnam, enhancing the country's profile as a top travel destination
