Representative ImageShiji, a leader in hospitality technology, and dailypoint, a customer data platform, have unveiled a real-time integration aimed at revolutionising hotel operations. This new interface, launched on 7 May 2026, synchronises guest data between the Daylight Property Management System (PMS) and dailypoint, allowing hotels to streamline operations and personalise guest experiences.
The integration automatically updates guest check-in details, preferences, and profiles, ensuring hotel staff have access to a unified and accurate data source. This advancement not only reduces manual tasks but also enhances compliance and supports personalised guest journeys from check-in to check-out. Simon Le Touze, Senior Director of Partnerships at Shiji, stated, “This integration keeps guest data up to date in both platforms and makes it easier for teams to act on it, without the manual handoffs.”
By implementing this real-time sync, hotels can minimise data entry errors, optimise workflows, and unlock advanced personalisation opportunities. The accurate guest profiles also facilitate targeted marketing, deeper segmentation, and adherence to GDPR-compliant data practices. Dr. Michael Toedt, CEO and Founder of dailypoint, emphasised the importance of accurate data, saying, “By connecting directly to Daylight PMS, we’re helping hotels move beyond static data towards a more dynamic, real-time understanding of their guests.”
This integration is now available to hotels using both platforms, marking a significant step towards more connected hotel operations. Dailypoint will showcase this innovation at HITEC North America from 15 to 18 June in San Antonio, Texas
