TDM AWARDS - NOMINATE NOW!

Air India has announced an expansion of its Maharaja Club loyalty programme, allowing members to earn and redeem Maharaja Points on Air India Express flights. This enhancement covers over 55 destinations across South, Southeast, and West Asia, broadening the scope of the programme beyond Air India's services.

Members can now accumulate Maharaja Points and Tier Points on Air India Express flights booked through various channels, including the Air India and Air India Express websites, mobile apps, and major travel agents. These flights will also contribute to members' tier progression, facilitating faster advancement within the programme.

Nipun Aggarwal, Chief Commercial Officer of Air India and Chairman of Air India Express, stated, “Our focus is on continually expanding Maharaja Club in a way that ensures our loyal customers’ travel experiences across destinations contribute meaningfully to their relationship with the Air India group.”

The programme's earning structure allows members to accrue points based on the base fare and fuel surcharge, with rates aligned to Air India's existing framework. Redemptions for award flights on Air India Express start from 1,500 Maharaja Points, with various routes available for redemption.

In future phases, Maharaja Club members flying with Air India Express will enjoy additional benefits such as priority check-in, boarding, and flexible cancellation options. This initiative is part of Air India's broader transformation programme, Vihaan.AI, which aims to enhance the airline's global standing and customer experience
