TravelAI has launched Traveller.md, a user-owned travel memory file, at the Phocuswright Europe conference in Barcelona. This innovative tool aims to transform travel experiences by providing a personalised, efficient, and trustworthy approach to travel planning. Traveller.md offers a portable record of a traveller's preferences, history, and intentions, accessible to AI systems only with the traveller's consent.

The launch marks the first step in TravelAI's strategy to enhance the travel industry through AI. John Lyotier, CEO of TravelAI, highlighted the importance of the new tool, stating, "Effective AI should remember what matters, respect permissions, and make travel easier. Traveller.md gives travellers a memory file they own."

Traveller.md automatically compiles data from AI-assisted interactions, allowing for a seamless and personalised travel experience. Brianna MacNeil, Director of AI Products & Personalisation at TravelAI, explained, "Traveller.md is the first memory file that lets travellers carry the nuance of how they like to travel into any tool they choose."

The tool is initially being applied to TravelAI's network of over 531 consumer-facing brands, with plans to expand to enterprise customers. Individual travellers can create their own profiles for free at Traveller.md. This development promises to enhance both traveller satisfaction and business outcomes by offering a warm-start personalisation approach
