Radisson Hotel Group has announced a robust development strategy for the first half of 2026, driven by strong owner confidence and demand for branded hospitality.
The group has expanded its presence across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific through new signings, openings, and brand extensions.
In Europe, the group achieved milestones with the signing of Radisson Collection Hotel, Frankfurt, and Radisson RED Vienna Danube Riverside. New openings in Austria, Germany, and Poland, as well as resort expansions in Tenerife and Phuket, highlight the group's growth. Radisson Individuals also expanded in Greece and Spain, whilst Radisson RED debuted in New Zealand, the Philippines, and Türkiye. The group's Verified Net Zero programme will soon include 10 additional hotels across Norway, Denmark, Sweden, the UK, and South Africa.
The Middle East and Africa saw significant openings, including Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Barsha Heights, and Radisson Collection Residences, Riyadh. Africa now boasts over 100 hotels in operation and development. Executive Vice President Elie Younes stated, "We create value for our guests and owners through our brands and people."
In Asia Pacific, Radisson continues to focus on China, with over 260 hotels in operation and a strong development pipeline. New market entries include LIME Resort Bohol in Southeast Asia and Radisson RED Auckland in Australasia.
India remains a key growth market, with 22 hotels signed and opened in H1 2026. The group operates 142 hotels across 86 cities in India and aims to expand to 500 hotels by 2030. Younes noted, "India is one of the most promising hotel development markets in the world today."
