Tencent Cloud and Rockstreamer Private Limited have announced a strategic partnership to revolutionise digital entertainment in Bangladesh. The collaboration aims to deliver advanced cloud, artificial intelligence (AI), and Content Delivery Network (CDN) solutions to telecommunications operators, broadcasters, and media companies. Their first major success, Binge+, is an OTT platform developed for Robi Axiata PLC, showcasing the potential of modern cloud architecture and AI-assisted engineering.
Binge+ is built entirely on Tencent Cloud's enterprise-grade ecosystem, enabling high-volume live streaming and seamless content delivery across various platforms, including Android, iOS, and Smart TV. The platform's capabilities were tested during a premier global football tournament in 2026, successfully delivering live sports to millions of viewers in Bangladesh without compromising quality.
The partnership highlights the value of combining Tencent Cloud's global technology with Rockstreamer's expertise in OTT platform engineering. "Tencent Cloud is committed to helping organisations accelerate innovation through secure, intelligent, and scalable cloud technologies," said Rachel Xie, General Manager of Tencent Cloud MENA. Anik Dhar, CEO of Rockstreamer, added, "Binge+ exemplifies what can be achieved when global technology leadership meets regional execution excellence."
Looking forward, Tencent Cloud and Rockstreamer plan to expand their collaboration across Bangladesh and other emerging markets, supporting enterprises in modernising their digital infrastructure. This partnership aims to deliver next-generation OTT, AI, cloud, and streaming solutions, fostering innovation and efficiency in digital experiences worldwide
