Air India Express has commenced operations from Raja Bhoj Airport in Bhopal, launching two daily flights to Delhi and one daily flight to Mumbai.

The inaugural flight to Delhi departed at 12:45 and arrived at Indira Gandhi International Airport at 14:15, whilst the first flight to Mumbai left Bhopal at 13:40, landing at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport at 15:25.

The new routes are part of Air India Express's efforts to bolster connectivity from Madhya Pradesh's capital, supporting tourism, trade, and economic growth in the region. Bookings for these flights are available on the airline's website, mobile app, and other major booking platforms.

This expansion follows the recent introduction of direct flights between Indore and Abu Dhabi, further enhancing international connectivity for Madhya Pradesh. With the addition of Bhopal services, Air India Express now operates approximately 55 weekly flights across Bhopal, Gwalior, and Indore.

In addition to improving connectivity, Air India Express celebrates India's cultural heritage through its Tales of India initiative. The airline's Boeing 737-8 aircraft, VT-BXQ and VT-BXY, feature tail art inspired by Madhya Pradesh's Bagh hand-block printing and Chanderi handwoven textile traditions.
