SeaWorld is set to thrill horror enthusiasts this autumn by introducing haunted houses inspired by the Sony Pictures film "I Know What You Did Last Summer" at its Howl-O-Scream events. Launching on 11 September, the new attractions will be available at SeaWorld parks in Orlando, San Diego, and San Antonio, marking the first time the film has been adapted for a major Halloween event.
The haunted houses, based on the 1997 horror classic, will immerse guests in the chilling narrative of a group of friends haunted by a deadly secret. Visitors will navigate through recreations of memorable scenes and the infamous Southport massacre, encountering the vengeful Fisherman at every turn. "We're always looking for new ways to raise the bar on immersive entertainment," said Marc Swanson, CEO of United Parks & Resorts. "This thrilling franchise has captivated horror fans for years with its suspense and terror."
The addition of "I Know What You Did Last Summer: The Final Catch" is a significant enhancement to SeaWorld's award-winning Howl-O-Scream events, which already feature elaborate haunted houses, scare zones, live entertainment, themed bars, and adrenaline-pumping rides. Guests can take advantage of the limited-time Killer Summer Sale, offering up to 65% off Howl-O-Scream tickets at SeaWorld Orlando and San Diego, whilst the event is included with park admission at SeaWorld San Antonio.
