Luxury river cruise line AmaWaterways has announced a collaboration with renowned British chef Theo Randall for an exclusive culinary experience aboard the AmaLea ship. The partnership will feature two intimate Chef’s Table dining events during the Romantic Danube itinerary from 17 to 24 July 2027, sailing through Germany, Austria, and Hungary.

Theo Randall, known for his Michelin-starred excellence, will curate a bespoke menu using locally sourced ingredients, offering guests a taste of the regions they visit. The dining experience will be enriched by Randall's personal storytelling, sharing the inspirations behind each dish. "The best meals don't just feed us, they bring us closer to where we are," Randall remarked, highlighting the connection between food and travel.

AmaWaterways Chief Creative and Marketing Officer, Toni Stoeckl, expressed excitement about the partnership, stating, "Dining is such an integral element to our travels and provides a true immersion that brings us closer to the heart of the people and places we encounter."

The Romantic Danube cruise, priced from $4,050 (£4,050) per person, includes return flights and transfers from London or Manchester. Guests booking from 1 October can save $375 (£375) per person and receive a complimentary upgrade when booking Category CB or above. The itinerary includes stops in Passau, Linz, Weissenkirchen, Vienna, and Bratislava, with a variety of shore excursions available.
