Hilton has partnered with Bank of Communications and Mastercard to introduce two co-branded credit cards in China, enhancing the Hilton Honours loyalty programme. The Bank of Communications Hilton Honours Mastercard S-Elite Platinum Credit Card and the Bank of Communications Hilton Honours Mastercard World Credit Card allow cardholders to earn Hilton Honours Points on everyday purchases, with double points on spending at Hilton properties.
The cards provide instant access to Silver and Gold status, offering benefits such as complimentary breakfasts and room upgrades.
Wendy Huang, Hilton's senior vice president in Greater China and Mongolia, stated, “These new co-branded credit cards make it easier than ever for consumers to earn Hilton Honours Points on eligible purchases and redeem them in the ways that matter most to them.”
The launch aligns with a Hilton survey indicating that 73% of Hilton Honours members in China value recognition, and 67% appreciate the ease of earning points. The cards are designed to integrate everyday spending with the Hilton Honours Points ecosystem, offering milestone rewards and globally redeemable Free Night Rewards.
He Bo, General Manager at Bank of Communications Pacific Credit Card Centre, highlighted the partnership's role in enhancing consumer spending and supporting the service economy. Dennis Chang, Executive Vice President at Mastercard, noted the cards' seamless payment experience for domestic and cross-border travellers.
The new credit cards are available through the Hilton Honours China App, WeChat Mini Programme, and Bank of Communications Credit Card App.
