Disney Vacation Club has announced the opening of Disney's Lakeshore Lodge, a new waterfront resort at Walt Disney World Resort, set to welcome guests from 1 July 2027.
Situated along Bay Lake, the resort will feature 967 guest rooms that blend Disney storytelling with natural elements, providing a serene retreat for visitors.
The resort's accommodations range from intimate duo studios inspired by Disney's "Encanto" to spacious villas themed around "Bambi". Unique to the lodge are the Lake Houses, freestanding retreats with A-frame architecture and floor-to-ceiling windows, offering stunning views of Bay Lake. These houses, accommodating up to eight guests, will include amenities such as a full kitchen and a washer and dryer.
For larger groups, the three-bedroom grand villas, inspired by "Fantasia", will provide expansive spaces for up to 12 guests, complete with premium amenities and water views. Additionally, the Hidden Willow Presidential Suite will offer luxurious accommodations with views of Magic Kingdom Park fireworks.
Guests will also enjoy The Wetlands, an outdoor recreation area featuring a lazy river and a zero-entry pool. Dining options include Moonglade, a waterfront restaurant, and Bay Lake Provisions, an all-day marketplace.
