United Airlines has announced the resumption of its nonstop service between Tel Aviv and San Francisco, set to begin on 30 March 2027. This service will operate three times weekly, offering more business class seats between the two cities than any other airline. The move is part of United's largest international network expansion in its history, which includes 10 new international cities and three new routes across Europe and Asia.

The Tel Aviv-San Francisco route will be operated using United's Boeing 787-9 aircraft, featuring 257 seats, including 48 all-aisle-access flatbed seats in United Polaris business class. The service aims to restore a crucial connection between two leading technology hubs, providing customers in Israel with greater travel options and seamless connections to over 225 destinations across the Americas via United's US hubs.

Yael Barzilay, United Airlines' Country Sales Manager for Israel, expressed enthusiasm about the service resumption, highlighting the benefits of increased travel choice and connectivity for customers. This announcement follows United's detailed assessment of operational, safety, and security considerations in the region.

United's expansion includes new destinations such as Okinawa, Japan, and Luxembourg City, Luxembourg, with the airline planning to serve more destinations in Japan, Spain, Portugal, Italy, and France than any other US carrier. The airline's new Airbus A321XLR will support this international growth, operating new services to several European cities.

All new flights are subject to government approvals.
