Star Clippers has announced an expansion of its Eastern Mediterranean programme, introducing new itineraries along the Turkish Riviera for 2027. The voyages, ranging from seven to 11 nights, will take travellers from Istanbul to Antalya, exploring the rich historical and scenic offerings of Türkiye's coastline aboard the 166-guest Star Flyer.

The itineraries promise a blend of history and modern Mediterranean life, featuring stops at ancient cities, UNESCO World Heritage sites, and picturesque seaside towns. Notably, the 11-night journey from Istanbul to Antalya includes visits to Çeşme, Datça, and the Greek islands of Samos and Patmos, before concluding in Antalya.

The reverse 10-night itinerary, departing from Antalya to Istanbul, introduces guests to Kekova's dramatic coastline and ancient Lycian remains. Shorter, seven-night sailings also incorporate Turkish ports, offering a cultural fusion of Greece and Türkiye.

Terri Haas, Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Star Clippers, highlighted the unique appeal of these sailings: “Türkiye is a destination that is ideally suited to the way Star Clippers travels. Sailing into these smaller ports allows our guests to experience that side of Türkiye whilst the journey itself — moving along the coast under sail — becomes part of the destination.”

These itineraries are designed for the Star Flyer, a four-masted vessel that combines the intimacy of a small ship with the experience of traditional sailing, allowing guests to engage with the crew and enjoy the journey under wind power.
