Prina Eka Putri, Garuda Indonesia's Marketing Group Head, stated, "Indonesia offers far more than a single destination. By making onward domestic travel easier, we want international travellers to stay longer, explore more regions, and experience more of what Indonesia has to offer."
Agny Gallus Pratama, Southeast Asia Branch Manager and Head of the Free Domestic Flight Project Management Office, highlighted the economic benefits, noting that extending visitor stays can positively impact local businesses, including hotels, restaurants, and tourism operators. "When visitors travel further and stay longer, the economic impact can extend to hotels, restaurants, local transportation, tourism operators, and MSMEs across the regions," Pratama said.
