Equinox Resort AMAALA has officially opened its doors on the northwestern coast of Saudi Arabia, marking the upscale fitness and lifestyle brand's first venture outside the United States. Located at the Marina Village in Triple Bay, the resort is part of Red Sea Global's ambitious Vision 2030 project, aiming to establish AMAALA as a premier ultra-luxury wellness destination.
The resort offers 128 rooms and suites, including two penthouses, and 21 branded residences. Designed by Foster + Partners with interiors by Rockwell Group, the resort draws inspiration from the Red Sea's natural landscape. It features a 1,602 square metre spa, four outdoor pools, and four dining concepts that align with its healthy-luxury philosophy.
John Pagano, Group CEO of Red Sea Global, stated, "The opening of Equinox Resort AMAALA introduces a distinctive new dimension to the destination's wellness offering. Equinox has built a global reputation around high-performance living, and bringing that expertise to AMAALA reinforces our ambition to create a destination where wellness, sport, and luxury come together in a truly differentiated way."
The resort's amenities include a 704 square metre fitness facility, the largest in AMAALA, and a spa anchored by the Equinox X Circuit, offering advanced treatments like cryotherapy and hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Dining venues such as Mint + Co and EQX Den provide indulgently healthy nutrition, supporting the resort's high-performance living philosophy.
As part of AMAALA's development, the destination will feature over 1,600 hotel rooms across nine resorts, alongside wellness facilities, a marina, and luxury retail and dining options, further enhancing its appeal as a global wellness and lifestyle hub.
