TDM AWARDS - NOMINATE NOW!

Virgin Voyages has declared September as 'Caribbean by Virgin Voyages' month, focusing on boosting sales through UK travel agents, known as First Mates. The initiative includes webinars, training sessions, and events aimed at over 3,000 agents, offering enhanced incentives and Caribbean-focused activities.

The programme features three virtual training sessions on 22, 23, and 24 September at 10 am, providing agents with deeper insights into the brand’s Caribbean offerings. Agents can register via FirstMates.com. During September, First Mates can earn £10 per booking, double the usual reward, through the First Mate Loot platform. Select Caribbean voyages of 10 nights or more offer £50 per booking, ten times the standard reward.

SJ Walker, UK Director of Sales at Virgin Voyages, stated, “The Caribbean is a huge opportunity for First Mates and September is all about giving them the knowledge, tools and incentives to go after it.” Walker highlighted the flexibility of the voyages, which range from short escapes to longer adventures across the Caribbean, complemented by over 200 excursions, wellness options, and year-round Miami departures.

Coinciding with this trade push, Virgin Voyages has launched a consumer campaign offering up to £750 in savings and 70% off the second Sailor on new bookings from 1 September to 2 November 2026. This offer applies to all voyages on the brand’s four Lady Ships: Scarlet Lady, Resilient Lady, Valiant Lady, and Brilliant Lady. For more details, agents can visit SellVV.co.uk.
