FCM Travel has announced the expansion of its Meetings & Events (M&E) services into Hong Kong, marking a significant step in its growth across Greater China. This move follows a year of strong performance, with FCM's M&E business nearly doubling in FY26. The expansion aims to support businesses in Hong Kong with corporate meetings, events, and incentive travel.

The decision to expand comes as Hong Kong's MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) sector continues to thrive, welcoming 2.51 million visitors in 2025—a 7% increase from the previous year. FCM's M&E services cover the entire event lifecycle, offering venue sourcing, event and group travel, and managed meetings, all supported by advanced technology and data for enhanced visibility and control.

Peter Chau has been appointed as the Meetings & Events Manager for Hong Kong, effective 1 September 2026. With over 30 years of experience in the MICE industry, Chau is expected to leverage his expertise to expand FCM's client base in the region. His past accolades include being named a Switzerland M.I.C.E. Specialist and receiving an Individual Award from the Taiwan Tourism Bureau.

Manpreet Bindra, FCM Meetings & Events Leader, Asia, highlighted the strategic importance of Hong Kong as a business events hub. "Businesses are becoming more intentional about how and why they bring people together and increasingly expect their meetings and events to deliver tangible value," Bindra stated.

Chau expressed enthusiasm about his new role, saying, "I look forward to working closely with clients to understand what they want to achieve and drawing on my experience to deliver events that meet their business objectives and create a lasting impact."
