Emirates has announced the signing of seven Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with tourism boards across the Indian Ocean, Europe, Southeast Asia, and the UAE at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2026. These agreements aim to enhance tourism flows and promote destinations within Emirates' network of nearly 140 destinations. The airline also renewed partnerships with technology and retail partners, reinforcing its commitment to global tourism and innovation.
The new agreements include a renewed partnership with the Seychelles Tourism Board and the Ministry of Tourism and Culture, aiming to boost inbound traffic through joint marketing campaigns. Emirates operates two daily flights to Mahé, contributing to a 13% increase in visitor arrivals in 2025. Similarly, the airline renewed its agreement with the Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority, which has seen a 105% rise in tourist arrivals from Middle East markets in H1 2026.
Emirates also partnered with Madagascar's Ministry of Tourism and Handicrafts to support its goal of one million tourists by 2028. Additionally, the airline renewed its collaboration with the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority to promote Sharjah as a year-round destination.
Further agreements were signed with Tourism Malaysia to support the Visit Malaysia 2026–2027 campaign, and with Visit Finland, marking the launch of year-round flights to Helsinki from 1 October. Emirates also partnered with Fjord Norway to boost tourism in Western Norway.
In addition to tourism board agreements, Emirates renewed its strategic partnership with Huawei, focusing on digital innovation and customer experiences in China. The airline also signed an agreement with Dubai Duty Free to offer exclusive deals to passengers travelling through Dubai International Airport's Terminal 3.
These initiatives underscore Emirates' role in enhancing global tourism connectivity and enriching customer experiences across its extensive network.
