Trip.Biz, the business travel brand of Trip.com Group, has launched Agent ONE, an AI-powered suite designed to revolutionise business travel by significantly reducing booking times and enhancing management oversight. The announcement was made at the Transform 2026 summit in Singapore, attended by 200 senior leaders from travel, procurement, finance, and HR sectors.
Agent ONE comprises four specialised agents that streamline the business travel lifecycle. The Planning Agent simplifies the search process by converting natural-language requests into personalised recommendations, whilst the Booking Agent reduces booking time from 45 minutes to just 2 minutes. The Approval Agent automates low-risk approvals, cutting wait times to under 3 seconds, and the Insight Agent provides comprehensive travel analysis in under 7 minutes.
CEO Tao Song highlighted the company's ambition to become a leading global AI-powered travel management company, emphasising the importance of digital adoption in overcoming real-world challenges. "AI is how we go further by continuing to improve the user experience itself," Song stated.
The launch addresses persistent issues in global travel management, particularly in the Asia Pacific region, which has been seen as complex due to varying regulations and standards. Eugene Tan, General Manager Southeast Asia, argued that the complexity lies in the model, not the region.
Agent ONE is now available globally, offering a consistent and simplified experience across all Trip.Biz-supported markets. This initiative marks a significant step in Trip.Biz's strategy to combine local expertise with global consistency, aiming to enhance business efficiency and reduce travel programme leakage.
