Emma Rodgers has been appointed as the national account manager at cruise.co.uk, marking a significant step in the company's expansion of its third-party trade business. This appointment follows two months of impressive growth, with third-party sales generating over $1.2 million (£1 million) in revenue in both July and August.

Rodgers transitions from her role as divisional sales manager at Ambassador Cruise Line, where she managed trade business across the north of England, Scotland, and Northern Ireland. With over 20 years of experience in the travel and cruise sectors, she is set to enhance cruise.co.uk’s relationships with trade partners, support sales growth, and identify new commercial opportunities. Rodgers will report to Lee Johnson, head of trade sales.

Tony Andrews, managing director of cruise.co.uk, commented on the appointment: “Emma’s appointment is the next step in our plans. She has an excellent reputation across the trade, extensive cruise experience and, importantly, understands what agents need from their supplier partners.”

Rodgers expressed her enthusiasm for the new role, stating, “I’m thrilled to be joining cruise.co.uk at such an exciting point in the development of its trade business. My focus will be on getting out and speaking to our partners, understanding what they need from us and making sure we give agents the products and support that help them convert more cruise enquiries.”

Cruise.co.uk launched its cruise and stay packages through the UK travel trade in January 2026, offering a range of tailored packages that combine cruises with flights and hotels. The company continues to be a leading specialist cruise travel agency in the UK, known for its wide range of cruise holidays and exclusive deals
