Accor, a leading global hospitality group, has unveiled ambitious plans to expand its luxury hotel portfolio in China, aiming to double its presence to 1,600 hotels over the next five to six years. The group is strengthening its strategic partnerships with key players such as Jin Jiang International Group, H World Group, and Sunmei Digital Intelligence. These collaborations are pivotal to Accor's integration into the Chinese market, with a focus on setting industry benchmarks and expanding direct booking and loyalty platforms.
Accor currently operates over 830 hotels across Greater China, including more than 50 luxury establishments. The group has signed agreements for several new luxury projects, including Fairmont Hangzhou Huagang and Sofitel Xi'an Chanba, as part of its strategy to refine high-end offerings and deepen midscale market presence.
