The Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre (ADPHC) has launched a new brand identity, marking a significant step in its mission to transform healthcare in the emirate. Established in 2019, ADPHC aims to shift the focus from treating diseases to predicting and preventing them, aligning with Abu Dhabi's vision for a smart and proactive healthcare ecosystem.

The new identity underscores ADPHC's commitment to prevention, early detection, and building a health-conscious community. It is part of a broader strategy involving over 40 public health programmes that address prevention, early detection, health promotion, and emergency preparedness. These initiatives are designed to support individuals at every stage of life, promoting a healthier, more resilient community.

Key programmes include the IFHAS programme for early disease detection, the Pre-Marital Genetic Screening Programme to prevent hereditary diseases, and the Personal Weight Management Programme aimed at preventing obesity and chronic diseases. Additionally, ADPHC leads efforts in cancer prevention, immunisation, and mental wellbeing, reflecting a comprehensive approach to public health.

The centre also emphasises community empowerment through initiatives like the SEHHI programme, which promotes healthy nutrition, and the annual Festival of Health, which enhances health literacy. By leveraging data and artificial intelligence, ADPHC aims to predict health risks and intervene early, advancing personalised care and supporting a proactive healthcare system.

Director General Dr Rashed Alsuwaidi stated, "Our new identity marks a new milestone in the journey of public health development in Abu Dhabi. The future will not be measured solely by our ability to treat disease, but by our ability to predict and prevent it." This new phase in ADPHC's journey reflects its dedication to building a smarter, more proactive healthcare ecosystem
