AIA HYROX Singapore hosts first three-day event

AIA HYROX Singapore made history from 3 to 5 April 2026 by hosting its first-ever three-day event at the Singapore National Stadium, attracting over 14,500 participants, with 35% travelling from abroad. The event introduced the 'Friday Night Relays', a global first in a stadium setting, alongside competitions in the Men's and Women's Open divisions and the Adaptive category.

The extended format provided athletes with greater flexibility for racing, travel, and recovery, enhancing their overall experience. William Petty, HYROX Regional Events Manager for Southeast Asia, remarked, "The energy at this year's event was incredible, and moving to a three-day format for the first time really allowed us to deliver an even bigger, better experience for our athletes."

Notable participants included K-pop star Jay Park and SHINee’s Choi Minho, who excelled in the Doubles competition. The event was supported by partners such as the Singapore Tourism Board, Sport Singapore, and AirAsia, highlighting its international appeal.

With the conclusion of this landmark event, the HYROX APAC season continues with upcoming races in Brisbane, Hong Kong, and Jakarta, expanding its presence to over 31 countries. HYROX will return to Singapore later this year, promising more opportunities for athletes to engage in this unique fitness challenge
