Air Astana launches flights from Frankfurt's new terminal

Air Astana has commenced operations from the newly opened Terminal 3 at Frankfurt Airport as of 5 May 2026. The airline's check-in counters, self-service kiosks, and baggage drop-off points are now conveniently located in Zone 34 of the terminal. Business Class passengers and Nomad Club Gold and Diamond members can also enjoy the new Priority Lounge situated on the 5th floor beyond passport control.

The airline has increased its flight frequencies to Frankfurt in its summer schedule. Flights from Astana now operate daily, whilst services from Almaty are available three times a week on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Additionally, Air Astana continues to operate weekly flights from Uralsk.

Terminal 3 is equipped with modern, self-service passenger technologies designed to enhance the airport experience. Passengers are encouraged to utilise the self-service check-in kiosks and baggage drop-off facilities for a smoother and faster process. This move is part of Air Astana's efforts to improve efficiency and passenger satisfaction at one of Europe's busiest airports
