Airport Dimensions has announced the opening of the Blue Sky Premier Lounge at Juanda International Airport in Surabaya, marking a significant step in its Asia-Pacific expansion. This new facility, located in the International Terminal T2, is the third collaboration between Airport Dimensions and Blue Sky Group, following successful ventures in Jakarta and Makassar.
Spanning 462 square metres, the lounge accommodates up to 101 guests and draws inspiration from Surabaya's identity as the City of Heroes. The design combines Western influences with Indonesian traditions, featuring framed batik and warm wood tones. The culinary offerings include local dishes like Rawon Surabaya and international favourites, complemented by live-cooking stations and a professionally tended bar.
Errol McGlothan, President of Airport Dimensions EMEA & APAC, highlighted the growing importance of secondary cities like Surabaya in international connectivity. "This lounge reflects our understanding of evolving traveller expectations, offering space to reset, quality food, and environments that support every type of journey," he stated.
The lounge is accessible to all passengers, regardless of airline or ticket class, with entry available to Priority Pass members and LoungeKey cardholders. Walk-in access is also available for $21 (IDR330,000) per person.
This opening builds on Airport Dimensions' recent successes in the region, including the award-winning Kyra Lounge in Hong Kong and developments in Vietnam. The company continues to expand its global portfolio, reinforcing its position as a leader in airport experiences across the Asia-Pacific region
