Luxury travel company Abercrombie & Kent is quietly optimistic about the future after seeing a record fortnight of bookings post-COVID. In a sure sign that the world is opening up, sales have exceeded those for the corresponding weeks in 2019.
“Our guests are reacting favourably to the welcome news around border openings, achieved vaccination targets and resumption of international flights”, says A&K Managing Director, Graham Wood.
“And our Journey Designers are on hand to provide travellers with all they need to confidently make plans: from up-to-the-minute guidance on new travel protocols; navigating requirements at home and abroad; as well as tailoring the perfect experience in destination with insider tips, unique encounters and activities and special places to stay. It all ensures a seamless travel experience from beginning to end”.
While demand remains strong for domestic travel well into next year, there is a good cross-section of international destinations featuring from Egypt, Israel, Oman and Morocco to Italy, Croatia, France and Iceland, Sri Lanka and India and A&K’s epic expeditions to Antarctica and the Northwest Passage. Enquiry is also high for Japan, Norway, Turkey and Costa Rica.
