Akasa Air, India's rapidly growing airline, has announced the addition of Jaipur as its 29th domestic destination. Starting 11 October 2026, the airline will offer daily direct flights connecting Jaipur with Mumbai and Bengaluru. This move aims to enhance connectivity across key leisure, cultural, and economic centres in India. Bookings are now open on Akasa Air’s website, mobile apps, and various online travel agencies.

Jaipur, known for its rich cultural heritage and emerging economic landscape, is a major tourism and commerce hub in India. The new flights will strengthen links between Jaipur and two of India's primary commercial and technology centres, facilitating seamless travel and supporting tourism, trade, and regional economic growth. Additionally, flights from Udaipur to Mumbai and Bengaluru will commence on 15 October, further expanding Akasa Air's network.

Anand Srinivasan, Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer of Akasa Air, remarked, “The launch of services to Jaipur marks another milestone in the continued expansion of our domestic network. Rajasthan is an important market for Akasa Air, and with Jaipur becoming our second destination in the state, we are pleased to offer customers more travel options and greater connectivity.”

Akasa Air's strategy focuses on connecting metro cities to high-potential regional destinations, thereby supporting economic development and tourism across Rajasthan. The airline's commitment to customer service is reflected in its modern fleet, which offers enhanced comfort and innovative features like USB ports for charging devices.

With a fleet of 40 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, Akasa Air continues to prioritise efficiency and environmental sustainability, maintaining its status as a preferred carrier in India
