United Airlines has announced a fresh menu rotation in collaboration with Chef's Table, the brand behind the Emmy Award-winning Netflix series. Starting 1 November, United Polaris international business class passengers will enjoy 30 new dishes crafted by 11 acclaimed chefs from ten cities. This initiative follows the successful launch of the first menu rotation in August, which saw customer satisfaction scores rise nearly 20 points compared to other preordered meals.
The new menu features a diverse range of salads, appetisers, and entrées inspired by United's hub cities and key international gateways. Notable dishes include Chef Nancy Silverton's spiral meat lasagne, Chef David Barzelay's rack of lamb, and Chef Tomos Parry's roasted pumpkin with rosemary stracciatella. Aaron McMillan, United's Managing Director of Hospitality Programmes, highlighted the importance of bringing world-class chefs onboard to reflect the destinations served and enhance the inflight dining experience.
United's investment in its food and beverage offerings continues to grow, with more than $150 million spent in 2025 to elevate the customer dining experience. The airline has expanded its meal preorder service to more customers, introduced new snackboxes, and enhanced its onboard wine programme. Justin Connor, President of Chef's Table Projects, expressed excitement about the collaboration, stating it allows travellers to experience the creativity and unique culinary perspectives of the chefs involved.
The new menu will be available for preorder on United's website or mobile app, starting five days before departure and up to 24 hours prior. This initiative aims to connect cuisine with place, offering passengers a taste of the chef's home city that inspired the recipes.
