Akasa Air is set to begin operations from Noida International Airport on 16 June 2026, offering daily direct flights to Bengaluru and Navi Mumbai. This move aims to enhance connectivity to the National Capital Region (NCR) and link it with two of India's major economic hubs. Bookings are now available on Akasa Air's website, mobile apps, and through various online travel agencies.
The expansion is part of Akasa Air's strategy to align with India's evolving aviation infrastructure. Noida International Airport, a new greenfield facility, is expected to ease congestion in the Delhi NCR airspace and boost regional accessibility and economic growth in western Uttar Pradesh and the broader NCR.
Anand Srinivasan, Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer, emphasised the significance of this development: “As India’s aviation market expands, capacity creation at the right infrastructure nodes will be key to sustaining growth. With its modern infrastructure, multimodal connectivity, and long-term capacity potential, Noida International Airport will transform access to NCR.”
Akasa Air plans to further expand its network from Noida International Airport, enhancing both domestic and international connectivity. The airline will also establish a state-of-the-art maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) facility at the airport to support aircraft maintenance and ensure operational efficiency.
This expansion aligns with Akasa Air's long-term growth strategy, focusing on high-potential aviation hubs. The airline, which has served over 27 million passengers since its launch in August 2022, continues to prioritise customer service and operational efficiency
