Hilton has announced the signing of two new hotels in China's Yangtze River Delta, marking a significant expansion of its lifestyle brand in the region. The company will introduce a Curio Collection by Hilton hotel in Nanjing and a Tapestry Collection by Hilton property in Wuxi, both set to open in 2028. This move reflects Hilton's commitment to meeting the growing demand for unique, experience-driven stays in sought-after destinations.
The Curio Collection by Hilton hotel in Xianlin, Nanjing, will feature 232 rooms and marks the brand's debut in the city. Located in Qixia District, the hotel will draw inspiration from local culture, catering to both leisure and business travellers. Meanwhile, the Tapestry Collection by Hilton hotel in Wuxi will transform an existing U-shaped building into a 150-room property in Huishan New Town, reflecting the neighbourhood's character through thoughtful design.

Nong Xia, President of Development for Greater China and Mongolia at Hilton, stated, "Lifestyle brands are an important strategic pillar for Hilton. Jiangsu offers both deep cultural heritage and diverse tourism offerings."
Hilton's expansion in the Yangtze River Delta is part of a broader strategy to accelerate the growth of its lifestyle brands in China. Over the past year, Hilton has opened several flagship projects across Greater China, including Canopy by Hilton Shanghai Belfry Plaza and Motto by Hilton Hong Kong Soho. These developments bring Hilton closer to its goal of surpassing 250 luxury and lifestyle properties in the Asia Pacific region
