Amari Phuket: A migratory retreat at Thailand’s Patong Beach

The journey to Patong, Phuket’s most popular beach, begins as you come across the Coral Bridge and a fishing village lined with colourful long tail boats. The symbolic bridge was built to provide the community with a better connection. And since the hotel’s opening, it serves as a welcome point for all guests of Amari Phuket.

The Lobby

Amari Phuket - The Lobby

Providing a warm welcome, the open-air lobby is a sight to behold with its dramatic ceiling installation handcrafted from locally-sourced rattan. Inspired by a bird’s nest, the intricate piece represents the island’s purpose — a stopover for migratory birds and a wealth of varied species.

Considered as one of the world’s best luxury resort and spa destinations, Phuket is Thailand’s largest island which entices jet-setters and indulgence seekers to getaway amongst fine white sands and picturesque sea views.

Rooms and Suites

Ocean Wing - Clubhouse
Ocean Wing – Clubhouse

Amari Phuket consists of 197 superior rooms, deluxe rooms and suites; each of which provides glittering ocean views and private balconies. With twice the space and luxury, the suites offer more comfort and private sun terraces.

Moreover, there’s a new all-suite Ocean Wing perched atop the beach wing of the resort which frames the spectacular view from an elevated perspective. It comprises 183 units, divided into one- and two-bedroom suites with kitchens and dining areas.

Amari Tip: Also on the new wing is an exclusive Clubhouse designed for guests who seek extra privacy including one of Patong’s best infinity pools overlooking the ocean, a sundeck and its own fitness centre.

Food and drinks

La Gritta - Amari Phuket
La Gritta

A Thai getaway wouldn’t be complete without sumptuous food and drinks. At Amari Phuket, guests can satisfy their cravings while lounging at the lap pool (one of the resort’s three pools) and savouring food from the adjacent La Gritta, which serves authentic Italian dishes inspired by the home cooking of Chef Patrizia Battolu.

Pool Bar - Amari Phuket
Rim Talay Pool Bar

Another delectable seaside dining option would be the Rim Talay, an all-day dining restaurant serving Thai and international à la carte menu, as well as themed night buffets and live cooking stations. Beside the restaurant is the Rim Talay Pool Bar, where guests can sip cocktails and munch on light nibbles while lounging on day beds and floating at the freeform pool.

Amari Tip: The natural preserved coral reef of Patong Beach becomes visible during the low tide in front of Rim Talay.

The Breeze Spa

The Breeze Spa - Amari Phuket

Providing ultimate relaxation and rejuvenation, the Breeze Spa is nestled towards the end of the resort’s hidden cove. Imagine the sounds of the ocean as you drift into slumber.

At the spa, guests can choose from a range of body massages and facial treatments in open-air pagodas or salas dotted across the hillside. Additionally, guests who don’t want to miss on their fitness regime can visit the well-equipped FIT Centre.

Other facilities

At the very edge of the cove is the Jetty, a prime viewing spot for three of the island’s best beaches: Patong, Kalim and Tri Trang. It’s another ideal destination for guests who want to bask under the sun, enjoy a memorable dining experience, or grab a snorkel to swim with schools of marine life.

Amari Phuket’s extensive facilities also include the Idea Room and Coral Room for small meetings or events, resort shops, a dive centre, the Kids Club and a tailor.
