TDM AWARDS - NOMINATE NOW!

Amrit Bhawan, a heritage riverside retreat in Haridwar, is set to host "A Week of Wellness by the Ganga" from 25 July to 1 August 2026. This week-long programme invites guests to engage in a series of activities designed to promote a restorative travel experience, including yoga, Ayurveda, nutrition consultations, massage therapies, and riverside rituals.

The programme features daily yoga sessions, personalised nutrition consultations with wellness expert Srishti Chatlani, and wellness-focused meals. Guests can also attend intimate knowledge sessions on Ayurveda, fermentation, gut health, and herbal infusions. Evening activities include Ganga Aarti at the property's private ghat, heritage walks, documentary screenings, sound healing, meditation, and Yoga Nidra.

Varun Bajaj, Founder & Managing Partner of Ekat Travel & Lodging, stated, "Wellness isn't something we wanted to package as a retreat or an escape. It already exists in the rhythm of this house, in the river, the slower pace of the day, shared meals and quiet moments by the Ganga. This programme simply creates more opportunities for guests to experience that rhythm with intention."

Packages for the programme start at $174 (₹14,440) plus GST per night for up to two adults, with curated wellness benefits varying based on the length of stay. Amrit Bhawan, an eight-room restored heritage home, offers a tranquil, residential-style hospitality experience, encouraging guests to reconnect with the landscape and themselves at an unhurried pace
