TDM AWARDS - NOMINATE NOW!

andBeyond has announced the launch of its new Amazon Explorer, a 74-metre expedition yacht set to sail the Peruvian Amazon from December 2026. Designed to accommodate 32 guests, the yacht offers three-, four-, and seven-night journeys, allowing travellers to experience the rainforest's dynamic landscapes throughout the year.

The Amazon Explorer aims to provide an immersive wilderness experience, featuring 12 Luxury Suites, two Superior Suites, and an 80 square metre Deluxe Suite. Onboard amenities include a wellness centre, gym, and Pisco Bar. Guests can engage in guided skiff excursions, rainforest walks, and night safaris, with opportunities to spot wildlife such as pink river dolphins and jaguars.

Mark Wheeler, andBeyond President, stated, "The Amazon Explorer challenges many of the traditional assumptions of expedition travel. Success here is not about reaching a particular place or ticking off sightings. It comes from taking the time to understand the relationships that shape the rainforest."

Departures begin in Iquitos, with transfers to Nauta, where guests embark on the yacht. The journeys are tailored to the changing conditions of the Amazon, offering unique experiences during both high-water and low-water seasons.
