Luxury adventure company andBeyond is celebrating its 20th anniversary in Asia by launching five limited edition small group journeys. These journeys, set to begin in 2028, will be led by renowned naturalists, scientists, and historians, offering travellers a unique perspective on the region's landscapes, wildlife, and cultures.
The journeys include "Red Pandas and Tigers" in Nepal, where naturalist Harsha Jayaramaiah will guide guests through the eastern Himalaya and Bardia National Park. In Ladakh, the "Snow Leopard Expedition" will be led by wildlife scientist Dr Raghu Chundawat, offering insights into snow leopard ecology. Sri Lanka's "Rediscovering Monkey Kingdom" will explore landscapes featured in Disneynature's film, guided by Toby Sinclair. Two Ganges cruises in India, one from the Himalayas to Kolkata and another from Patna to Kolkata, will be led by Toby Sinclair and historian Rudrangshu Mukherjee, respectively.
Suhail Gupta, Managing Director of andBeyond Asia, emphasised the importance of perspective in these journeys, stating, “Over the years, andBeyond has worked alongside remarkable people whose curiosity has been shaped by decades in the field. These journeys allow them to share not only what they know, but how they have learnt to see.”
andBeyond's journey in Asia began in 2006 in India and has since expanded to Bhutan, Sri Lanka, and Nepal. The company has built a reputation for immersive experiences shaped by deep local knowledge and partnerships with conservationists and communities. These new journeys promise to deepen travellers' understanding of Asia through the eyes of those who have dedicated their lives to studying it.
