andBeyond has announced the reopening of its Xaranna Okavango Delta Lodge in Botswana, following an extensive rebuild. Scheduled to welcome guests from 1 August 2027, the lodge is situated within a 90,500-hectare concession in the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Okavango Delta. This reimagined lodge promises an immersive experience, integrating the Delta's dynamic ecosystem into every aspect of the guest stay.
The lodge will feature nine expansive suites and a new two-bedroom Family Suite, designed to cater to couples, small groups, and families. The design, inspired by the Delta's floodplains and Botswana's weaving traditions, incorporates natural materials and solar power, reflecting a commitment to sustainability. Guests can enjoy a variety of activities, including game drives, guided walks, and seasonal mokoro excursions, ensuring a private and immersive wildlife experience.
Jason King, Managing Director of andBeyond Southern Africa Lodges, highlighted the lodge's unique offering: “What sets andBeyond Xaranna Okavango Delta Lodge apart is its ability to provide a truly multidimensional sense of place, held by the Delta.”
The lodge also introduces new wellness and dining experiences, including a dedicated wellness centre and an interactive kitchen. These enhancements aim to deepen guests' connection with the landscape, offering a holistic approach to luxury safari travel.
