The Association of National Tourist Offices and Representatives (ANTOR) has celebrated its 75th anniversary, marking the milestone with a prestigious event at the Spanish Ambassador’s Residence in London and a nationwide travel trade roadshow. The event, hosted by Emma Aparici and Manuel Butler, Chair of ANTOR, gathered over 100 industry leaders to honour ANTOR's commitment to sustainable tourism and destination collaboration since its inception in 1951.

ANTOR's anniversary roadshow spanned Belfast, London, Manchester, and Glasgow, connecting member destinations with more than 120 travel agents and tour operators in each city. This initiative aimed to strengthen ties within the UK travel trade sector. Founded by 10 national tourist offices, ANTOR now represents 50 destinations worldwide, with new members such as St Helena and South Africa joining in 2026.

Manuel Butler, ANTOR Chair, emphasised the importance of collaboration in global tourism, stating, “For 75 years, ANTOR has brought destinations together to exchange ideas, build partnerships, and champion tourism as a force for good.” He highlighted the shared challenges and opportunities faced by destinations, from sustainability to evolving traveller expectations.

ANTOR membership offers UK destination representatives access to networking events, media workshops, and market intelligence. The organisation also expands its digital presence through social media, serving as a hub for travel trade news.

Chris Rowles, Chair of AITO, praised ANTOR's role in supporting the travel industry, whilst Tim Alderslade, Chief Executive of Airlines UK, acknowledged its contributions to sustainable tourism and industry collaboration. As ANTOR continues its mission, it remains a pivotal force in promoting responsible travel and destination marketing
